Okay guys got fault code 01218 come up. Relates to passenger airbag igniter. Any ideas how much it is. Car is 2006 octavia sport.

I bet it's the wiring under the seat. Do you still have 2 plugs under the seat or have they been cut off and the wires soldered together?

It's normally a poor connection under the seat. The technical bulletin was to cut the connector out and join the wires directly using the appropriate crimp heat shrink connectors.

Thanks Mike. Will try the connector. Borrowed VCDS off a mate of mine he's got the pro version. Always disconnect the battery when working on the electrics.
