When did you last drive a Go-Kart?

Featured Replies

Before today, it'd have been about :censored: years ago, when I was about 10 and I pretended I was James Hunt (no rhyming slang, please ;) ).

This morning I drove across the twisty 'B' roads of 'The Peak' in my 2 month old Furby vRS (yes, Clarkson, 'Rock 'n' Roll') pulling like a train up t' hills and backing off on the rain and muck-splattered bends. All the way to Chesterfield.

This afternoon I drove back in a Go-Kart.

No more easing off on corners. No more nose-diving under baking. :D

Okay, so I'd asked for the stiffest ride possible (I don't do things by halves  ) and been rewarded with "half a turn" up from what normal punters get. ;)

At the risk of getting this thread banned, I'll just say that I overtook some 'Bozo' in a:

1960s short skirt - someone who makes barrels - third element of my 'Username'.

who then 'tail-gated' me for half a mile before I got bored and (cult programme on Channel 4, wed, 10.00pm) him ON THE TWISTIES!

Big thanks to Sarah and the guys at JBS.

Now I need a remap to fully explore the handling.
