Sound System

Featured Replies

Hi!! Skoda family

Last week I recived my own Fabia and I'm in love with it, but also I'm a really big fan of music so, I'm thinking about upgrading the sound system may be another speaker on the trunk. Is that posible with bolero?? I'm just curious.

Thank you all!!

Hi

I'm looking to upgrade too. The sound of the standard-speakers is very 'thin'. Will it help to replace the speaker-units or will I need another amplifier too? I have the Bolero-unit.

HI guys can you please tell me how does sound system in skoda super look like..Think i am interesting in is where crossovers are.Are they between speaker and external amp or they are build in speaker or already right signal coming from amp for each speaker?

I will realy apreciate right answer as i am planing to change head unit and this sound system does not work with any other aftermarket head unit because is working with can bus.

So my plan is to bypass skoda amplifier and install new one 6 channel. 2ch for front 2 for rear and 2 for some sub.

But i need to know if i have to put crossovers also or they are in speakers or somewhere in doors as i am not planing to take door covers down i will conect from cables which is under seat concet to factory amp. Thanks guys

Are you sure it has a factory amp?

I upgraded my speakers to Audison Primas in my mk2

It completely changed it.

Then upgrading thr headunit completely changed it again. Its brill!

Its not an option on the Fabia.

Its all badged up. Take a B&O speaker out of an audi. It even looks crap. It sounds crap too.

Manufacturers pay them hardly anything, so what they get in return is a crap product.

Buy aftermarket and you get the real deal. Its the only way. Plus its much cheaper too.

B&O sounds **** in audi? I thought sounds amazing but i never listen that sound upgrade but i realy thought must be amazing.

Nah.

Not compared to afternarked stuff.

Heres a Bose upgrade speaker out of an Audi.. Look at the shoddy quality :D

Now google search something good. I've got Audison Primas in my mk2 Fab. They arent high end, just good to retrofit and sound great.
