Heater not blowing anymore. First time its happened two month ago, again tonight.

My elegance with climatronic, people saying climatronic does not have resistors, is it true?

Does computer shows whats wrong or just "Heater intermitten problem"????

Just got the road with uneven surface and blower start working again!

When i stop the car the power of blow get down, when the car fully stops the fan blows get back to normal. What is that, motor or brushes problem??? Cheers

Ihave moved to the passanger seat and hit that f..ing motor by my feet. Get back to work.

Motor or some connection problem.

Sounds like a lose connection on the motor to me. As it worked when you kicked it. Also might be worth taking the motor out plus any leaves. Few squirts of WD40 and refit.

I was trying to take it out but no luck, did not find what keep it there so hard but seen the motor, turned freely and very clean inside.

We get around to answering eventually, but some of us have more important things to do than to be on standby to answer peoples problems.

But we always try to help people.

It does sound like a simple connection problem that either you will have to find for yourself, or take the car to an auto electrician.

 

Good luck with it, as it is a bad time of year to be without your heater and demister.

Had same problem with my blower, would stop and after taking out and wd40ing would work for short period of time.

Just changed for a new unit from Euro car Parts massive saving on oe part from Skoda.

Two different makes available for Elegance with climate control I chose cheaper one all fitted and running better than ever.

Skoda price quoted was 489 euro.

Euro Car parts £105.

Came complete with resistors etc ready to fit.
