Just got a '98 GLX TDI but I'm trying to figure out if its classic, ambiente or elegance as it doesn't seem to fit in with info in the introduction post. Is my car pre -classic/ambiente etc? :confused:

GLX is the equivelent to an ambiente.

Classic = LX

Ambiente = GLX

Elegance = slx

But this is a pre facelift so the LX etc applies

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. Mid-way through a holiday in France and the Infotainment gremlins are back… SOS call fail, parking distance fail and manoeuvre assist fail, coupled with infotainment system booting, lasting about 30s, freezing and rebooting. SOS light on red and multiple warnings on dash. Car is coming up to 2 years old and has had repeated software issues. Could really use some help from someone who has had this issue and can stop the endless reboots !!!

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti
