Thanks for having me. Ordered a Superb MkIII today, long wait expected (delivery date quoted as 31 May) but hoping the forum and pics will ease the wait.

Gone for a 2.0 150 Diesel DSG Hatch with a few options (heated seats / window) in Metallic Brown.

Always owned Japanese or Swedish cars up to now (exception being a 1991 Polo in my teens).

Considered a new Oct VRS but went for luxury and comfort in the end.

Hope to contribute and get to know a few of you.

Went for SE Business, considered SE L Exec but still would have liked couple of options. Although my daughter did 'really want' the power boot.

Interior is black with alcantara (ultrasuede) which I quite like. Would have picked a tan or deep red leather if it was an option otherwise.

Zeus alloys - I saw these in the show room and I was suprised how good they looked so couldn't bring myself to pick a cost option.

Already planning my first weekend road trip

It's a bit of a wait but will be worth it!
