Strange Graphic on Columbus

Featured Replies

I was driving along this morning, listening the The Archers on the radio when a very odd graphic suddenly appeared on the screen of the Columbus. It was nearly full-screen and  the text at the top said "Top Speeds in the United Kingdom". Underneath the text were 4 Speed limit signs with 30, 40, 60 and 70, or similar and associated with each one was a small graphic depicting the type of road that each limit applied to. This stayed on-screen for about 30 seconds then disappeared. It came back once more during the journey and disappeared again. I have never seen this before. Could it be linked to my recent Columbus update? Did it predict that I was about to exceed the speed limit (of course I didn't)?

I had this come up on our Amundsen on returning from France to the UK - presumably a reminder for foreign drivers coming to the UK. In your case, a glitch?

GPS glitch I would think. I've had my tom tom Go tell me I was in Germany when I was parked up in the highlands of Scotland.  :x

It pops up everytime you cross a border.

You can disable it in the parameters.
