Hi

I have an SE L 1.4 estate which I bought new last July, so far I have been very pleased with it apart from the common water collecting under the front door problem. I am aware of the various topic answers on this forum and thought I would leave it until my first service. I noticed today by chance that when I opened the drivers door, water leaked from the door locking mechanism on edge of the door. Is this another problem or part of the original seal replacement problem. Should I take it in for a fix now or leave it until the service.

Well I sincerely hope the water level inside your door isn't up to the lock mechanism in depth!!

 

Don't wait for a service, get it done sooner. I've just had mine done (door seal modification) and don't appear to have any water retention in the doors now
