Where is located the CD changer in a factory configuration?

Is it the wiring done in the cars that don't have the unit (pre-instal) and if so where is it located?

Don't know about that model, but I've just bought a Superb and discovered that the CD changer is in a little compartment on the near side (right hand drive) of the boot. The compartment flap gives no indication that it's there - the only symbol on the flap is the Green Cross sign to indicate a first aid box - which was missing!

CD change is in a compartment on the near side of the boot. Don't know for sure but I would presume all octavias have a common wiring loom .
