Hello from Sweden

Featured Replies

I found this excellent site while surfing for info on the new Octy II vRS. After having read all I could find, I ordered my new Octy II vRS in october:) , and if I'm really lucky I will have it before X-mas. Dealer tells me it could be delayed until early january, but I'm praying he's wrong.

Had a test drive last week, when my dealer got his demo car in, and I was not dissapointed! I was the first to drive it, except the guy who drove it into the exhibition hall. I drive an Octy II Elegance already with the 2.0 FSi (ordered that *blind* aswell), but the vRS is just so much more fun:thumbup:

This is what it's going to be, if anyone wants to know:

-Black magic pearl effect

-Cruise control

-Sunroof

-Xenon

-Rainsensor

-Audience & soundsystem w. 12 speakers

All safety stuff, curtain airbags etc is standard i Sweden (home of the Volvo, you know). I live in the swedish countryside and drive a lot on bad roads, so 18" wheels and park-assist is no use to me.

That's my two pennies worth, see you in the forum!

Welcome

But have you got any frozen lakes near you where you can have a little play?

Welcome from me too. :D Have you staked your claim to Sweden here?

Yes I do actually! I haven't been out driving on lakes for a few years now, but I is really fun to do so:thumbup: . Drove a lot on lakes with my fathers old Toyota Carina II Gli, I still can't belive he let me do it! (no license at the time). Maybe I'll give it a go again, when my new vRS gets in. I have spiked tyres, so I will have at least a minimum of grip:D
