sorry to jump straight in with a question on my second post

 

will the extreme black alloys from the currently selling VRS fit my mk1 VRS without any additional work needing to be done

Will need an adapted as mk3 is 5x112 PCD fitting whereas mk1 is 5x100

..and the thickness of the adapters (usually around 20mm+) will need to be deducted from the offset - making the wheels stick out more, and possibly catch the arches.

Should be ok with hub adapters, think the MK2&3 offsets are higher then the MK1, IIRC around high 40's/low 50's compared to the 38 on the MK1.
