Hi I have a octavia vrs pre fl with the xenon headlights and I gave them a good Polish the other day cause all dirt on road and noticed my headlight Is flaking there are parts like it's peeled off or a massive stone has hit it,

My question is do these have a protective cover on them that u can't see? And is there anyway get them re done as they are looking bad now thanxs

It might be the uv layer coming off. Hard to say without seeing in the flesh.

I will try get pics up but the headlight doesn't Polish up well anymore

Once uv breaks down only option is to sand all off, polish and seal :( not an easy task.

It will be UV coating as it stops the plastic turning milky

Once the UV coat wears off I don't think you can replace hence the use of sealer which is included in restoration kits such as the rain x one.
