I am struggling to see under the car, as i only spotted it this morning, and without ramps i can't work out what has happened, but my under engine tray thing looks like it has dropped and is now hanging a couple of inches off the ground.

Can they work lose or have i broken something ?

The one on mine worked loose and started dragging along the ground. I took it off and there weren't any signs that it had been pulled off, so assume the screws holding it in had rusted through? Quite embarrassing driving the remaining 40 miles of my round trip dragging it along the ground, although I did discover above 70mph the air must have lifted it a little as it was less noisy

yep mines popped off once before and its coming off again. Maybe some locktight is in order next time

dont think its the cover that the problem mate, i think your engine might be about to fall out. if only we had super techie to the rescue
