n/s xenon not levelling

Featured Replies

Hi guys, got a problem with the n/s xenon on my 2009 l&k. On start up the n/s headlamp does not come up after its horizontal sweep. were put into learning mode via vcds still no joy .  Are the motors controlled from the control units or is it new headlamp time (ouch) got it manually adjusted up at the moment.

Any input most welcome, cheers guys

Did the output tests work for up/down? Any faults logged?

My xenon headlights are automatic, and there is something on the front passenger side and rear driver side that sets the height... All I know is that when my front CV gator needed replacing the mechanic didn't reattach it... I reckon you need to look for it. I know its not very good info but maybe Google it?

It's a level sensor in those locations and it should cause both headlights to be at the wrong height when disconnected/damaged rather than just the nearside :)
