Changing timing belt on superb 1.6

Featured Replies

Evening everyone just a quick question I have a 2013 superb 1.6 diesel and have covered 71000 miles can someone tell me the recommended miles at which the timing belt should be changed

Many thanks Eric

My dealer recently told me that it is five years or 140k on 1.6 diesel.

There is a time and distance interval.

5 years is the time interval.

The distance can only be confirmed by Skoda UK as it can vary from car to car, some models with the same engine have different distance intervals.

Drop Skoda UK an email quoting your VIN...

5 years or 140,000 miles, whichever comes first.

My was 127 when I changed it,

mine will be done at 90,000

services will be 15,000

mine will be done at 90,000

Why specifically at that mileage?
