Cat gone

Featured Replies

Hey guys.

Not been on for a while due to bad health. Not been using the car either. Went out to use it last week and found a horrendous metallic rattle noise. Sounds like a marble in a Coke can. Stick my head underneath and the secondary cat has gone. The ceramic is rattling around inside.

Trip to local Skoda dealer and they quote me nearly £700

Jump on the good ole bay of E and find an OEM one for £96.

Normally I wouldn't bother but £700 is all the car is worth.

Has anyone tried these OEM cats? With MOT due in June will it fail MOT with a cat rattling if I leave it to self destruct?

Thanks in advance guys
