warm starting issue

Featured Replies

when cars cold it starts perfect but when warm (not everytime) it turn over 4/5 times before she fires ive changed temp sensor what else should I be looking at?

I had a topic last week about this, sounds like camshaft sensor (when they are warm they expand and loose signal) or somthing like that.

I havnt changed it to check yet but think that's it's fault. Let me know if you fix yours other wise.

Does it rev over 3200rpm once you go out in it?

This starting when hot/warm reluctance fault, sounds like my old MK 1 Fabia VRS problem.

Is it easy to replace the camshaft sensor, any special tools or knowledge required ??

yes and my vxr revs to 8400rpm can ur wifes do that? :P

I don't know, they are gay cars so I never use it tbh........

What do the user's on the Corsa VXR forum think of your car? :D

Finally enough was enough, took car to local garage who rang me an hour later to say scan said it was the camshaft sensor at fault.

Getting it replaced in a couple of days..

Fingers crossed problem will be eliminated..

After a £160.00 bill, the problem has been solved..bill clarified in similar related thread..
