council sued for sticky mess from parking ticket

Featured Replies

I've always wondered if people complain about that.

It seems it's pretty sticky stuff on the parking fines which must be a bugger to get off.

What a w*nker.  Breaks the law then makes a profit out of it.

That really is the driving equivelent of the scumbag burgalar suing the homeowner because he stubbed his toe on the coffee table while nickimg the tv...

**** like that should be a mandatory jail term for the person putting in the claim. If you are doung something illegal all other rights should be forfeit in relation to the illegality.

It was a lot cheaper for the council to pay up than to fight him. Also a lot cheaper to carry on using strong adhesive to prevent other chancers from claiming the ticket blew away.

The next time he parks illegally the traffic warden is going to use a nail gun to attach the ticket to the screen. No messy glue to worry about.

Awesome :)

Makes you wonder about society these days! Pathetic
