Paintwork Scratches

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Had an annoying thing happen pretty recently, I discovered a few days after using a car wash that I now have a few small scratches on the nearside front wing of my black Fabia VRS.

I was wondering if anyone recommends a cheap easy non machine method/polish that seems to work really well to help remove the marks?

cheers.

depends on how much time are you willing to spend on it doing it by hand...Farecla G3 (yellow bottle) works well.

But I bought myself a DAS6 Pro and 2 stage cutting and polishing compound and the results are amazing.... and in a lot less time.

If you are near Manchester I could help you

Hey Matty. Rule no.1 never use car washes. Especially on black cars. The amount of damage they do is awful mate. Hand wash only IMO.

I know, kicking myself for using it just couldn't cope with a filthy car at the time!
