Here is a weird one. User here has a problem with views and unread messages.

Basically, when viewed grouped by date there are no unread messages but switch to group by sender and all of a sudden it comes up and says that a sender has an unread message even though no unread messages exist.

Any ideas. I have already tried patching outlook to SP2, and used the cleanviews command line option.

Found the problem, the users inbox root folder is corrupted on the exchange 5.5 box. Short of recreating the mailbox from the backup PST file I have, any ideas on how to repair it.
