Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 migration issue

Featured Replies

We are currently in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.

We used the AD connector and the exchange 2003 system manager and moved all the mailboxes across to the new 2003 server. Some of the permissions however seem strange, some shared calendars cannot be accessed for example. Move the mailbox back to the old server and all is well again.

Any ideas on this one.

We are currently running in mixed mode as we still have a couple of NT4 BDC's to migrate.

Been investigating today, the problem with accessing the shared calendars are related to the rights assigned by the users. If they had specified individuals they seem to work fine, however if they had assigned the permissions to an exchange 5.5 distribution list then it doesnt work.
