Wanted a set for ages, but wanted to check where the best place is to get them as I imagine they are specific to the vrs at least on the rear

I got mine from superskoda. Only difference is between combi and hatch.

Nope, the standard mk2 mudflaps will fit a vRS no problems at all.  I have them on mine and they are more than easy to fit. 

The only model in the mk2 range they won't fit is the Monte Carlo as this has extra plastic trim around the wheel arches, which the vRS doesn't.

I got mine from theskodashop, so if you want genuine I'd go there or to your local dealer.
