smartlink post22 prob

Featured Replies

HI guys,

I have SEL fabia 110 and its been great since I had it, no probs until last friday...

I plugged in my iphone6 into smartlnk/carplay to get google maps/sat nav up as there was lots of traffic that day and it normally finds me a different route.....

Smartlnk/carplay did not want to connect at all. kept disconnecting when trying to connect and saying "connection failed". I tried connecting about 10-20 times in the normal way and eventually it did connect. I also tried it over the weekend and it was fine. so I am hoping it just had a bit of a spaz-out?

The only other irregularity is that Spotify now gives me no options to search, I can open spotify no probs but my passsengers now cannot search any new music whilst on the move. I did update spotify the other day so I am guessing it is maybe buggy as hell? Anyone else had spotify probs?

I'd also be interested to hear from anyone with post22 build smartlink probs.

It has been absolutely fine up until last week. the USB cable is a genuine apple cable and i've tried another phone since the problem but the problem itself seems to have gone, so hard to isolate the problem.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Try going to the car set up menu and to factory settings, then select Reset Individual Settings and select Mirrorlink (I think that is correct - the car's not here so I'm trying to remember the options). We had connection issues trying to get Android Auto working and a reset of Mirrorlink sorted it for us.
