£200, I assume it just sleeves to the standard split in the exhaust where the cat is?

I thought it would be cheap to get a custom but this is what I've found so far:

Local garage trying to charge £175 for a backbox delete with a tip, are you out of your mind?

25 miles away a garage charged a guy on facebook £150 for cat back, but supplied his own tip.

So, £200 for a branded cat back with a nice tip?

Assuming it just goes straight on, right?

Yeah will fit straight on, it's a cat back but just a straight pipe no boxes

Your find that's + vat & delivery with them too

Yeah £202 with delivery and VAT added.

Does it have the correct exhaust hangers etc do you know?

not sure if to just make my own for maybe ~£60 in ebay parts but then I would have to make hangars etc.

It will fit on standard hangers, straight fit, only benefit is this will be 2.5inch whereas standard is 2.25, but then no real difference anyway with diesels unless you run 200+ bhp more for noise :)

This is my piper cat back ordered from demon tweeks, really quick delivery and a good price!

Did it come with anything to fit it?

Did you need a 2.25 reducer for the cat end?

Comes with a reducer and clamps

Looks nice that :)

Is that the 5x3 tailpipe?

Bit of a rip off price compared to the straight through system though just for adding a silencer, even on offer now at Tweeks it's £333

Yeah pretty much the same size at the original one

Better than the price on piper website of £380ish

Someone offering me a milltek turbo back with a few dents in the backbox for £170 good or no?

Piper fits better than the Milltek, better quality too.

Oh right thought milltek was better and more expensive.

You think 200 new cat back straight pipe piper is better than 170 turbo back decat milltek with some dents in back box (don't care as long as it's not leaking etc)

The Milltek was designed and made on my first vRS in 2003, wouldn't buy one myself.

However with the decat pipe it does seem fairly good value.

160 mile round trip, asked him £150 to pick up at weekend see what he says.

Also asked for pics of debts and asked about any holes etc

its stainless steel can't see there being any holes tbh I had a milltec sounds good on boost but I found the twin pipes left more mess up my rear than an oval which I got now
