Hi guys I am having a small problem with my 2002 fabia 1.4mpi. The problem is when I start up sometimes a loud clicking noise can be heard and when I rev it a bit it goes away. On the road the engine runs smoothly and very quite and makes good mpg to. It only has 92k miles on it previous owner was an elderly person and rarely used it. It is pretty mint.

Could it be the coilpack?

Could just be where the oil hasn't circulated properly. Sometime it takes a while for oil to get to the top of the engine and can make the engines sound tappity.

If it clears after a second or two it will be fine.
