I bought some cheep microfiber cloths of eBay and was dusting the dashboard of my new octavia unfortunately where the seam is on the cloth has left a very light scratch.

It's right above the speedo and catches the sun. It's not even a scratch in the conventional sence more of an abrasion.

Any one got ideas on the best way to remove this?

When you say the dashboard, are you talking about the actual dash, ie the lens to the dials?

 

If so, I doubt you will improve it. The only thing I can think of is a glass cream polish, It may work if you are lucky.

 

If on the dashboard, ie the fabric, then possibly a leather type of cream, kind of moisturising it.
