I bought some cheep microfiber cloths of eBay and was dusting the dashboard of my new octavia unfortunately where the seam is on the cloth has left a very light scratch they sealed the seams with a hot knife.

It's right above the speedo and catches the sun. It's not even a scratch in the conventional sence more of an abrasion line.

Any one got ideas on the best way to remove this?

Help much appreciated

Without seeing it, I would say try a magic sponge and water using light pressure.
