Basically, the most sought after ones come up often on forums, but what about the eBay ones from China etc. Obviously the leather won't be great and be more like cat skin or something, but are they any good? Especially for next to nothing?

 Better off fitting a mk4 Golf one over those aftermarket ones from China, can pick one up with the fitting bracket for about £30-£35

I have an eBay one and it's pretty crap. Can't put any weight on it as it only screws into the centre console, plus it flexes quite a bit, I wouldn't recommend it

You get what you pay for I suppose.

The fixing bracket with a member on here makes and sells are a good solid setup. I have the mk4 Golf armrest, I can put a lot of weight on mine with no fear of it breaking.
