DSG with paddle shifting?

Featured Replies

I was just wondering, would it be possible to take audi/vw

steeringwheel with gearchange paddles, and fit it to skoda?

I mean, i heard about guy who changed the wheel in Audi

A4 to get those flaps. It worked. Can it be done in Octy2?

In theory at least yes -- all that the wheel paddles do is replicate the gearstick movement - however there would probably be some code or other that would need chaning using vag-com or similar to let the car know it had paddles - a bit like having to tell it if you fit cruise control.

In case someone manages to get this going, please post a guide or something, I have a feeling it would be a very popular mod :D (and no I don't even have the car, but if I did I'd like it ;) )

thats going to definiatly be by far one of the best mods yet if that works

Tempted but to be honest the manual shifting of the box is impressing me every day!

The wheel on my sons playstation has paddles, can I use that. You can also exit unharmed after an accident, now that would be useful

Never understood why this isn't offered, at least as an option? My cynical side says its one of those toys VAG don't offer to Skoda buyers, to separate the brand from the more upmarket VW and Audi models

Would be a nice mod to do though :D

an audi or vw wheel, if it would work. Ofcourse it needs some work,

but if its not impossible.
