I've been told about a recall on the 170 pd engines. Has anyone had this done recently? I've had a look in the boot and can't see no sticker saying it's been done

Phone and ask Skoda. They checked and confirmed that mine was done, and it has the sticker.

Sticker should be on the boot floor. The recall is pretty old now, I was replacing the injectors when I left Skoda over three years ago.

Well mine apparently don't need doing under the recall. So asked them to price me up 1 fitted 2 days ago and still heard nothing! I've phoned them 3 times trying to get a price

All PD170 engines fitted to the Octavia vRS are eligible for the recall.

 

The only reason your car won't be eligible is if they have already been done.

 

Who said they don't need doing?
