Have any members used New_Car_Discount.com to purchase their new car?

I ordered my 280 L&K Estate from them on Monday, very early days i know, but so far have had no problems, answered every question i asked satisfactory, no problem with the £500 deposit (which i paid by credit card card for added piece of mind) emailed the sales bumf promptly and obviously a brilliant price!!

The only problem I have encountered, personally, with using a broker is that you may not get an order number for the car; thus making it much more difficult to track the car build.

For the sake of a trackable order number, i would personally rather have an extra 4 grand in my pocket rather than theirs!

Absolutely, me too. I was just saying that's the ONLY downside I've experienced so far. You read all the scare stories on here about build times and can't help but fear for your cars progress. Thankfully my is now waiting shipping exactly on the quoted order but I have driven the broker mad looking for updates. I've ordered beige leather, Pegasus wheels and pano roof and it's only been 12 weeks so I am EXTREMELY happy with my deal.

I bet you are, and good luck with your car when it arrives....TWELVE weeks, I will be lucky if mine is double that, but who knows.

My car came on a trailer from the dealer that prepared it and has that dealers name on the plates - not NCDs. Good info all the way through and as already mentioned credit card payment for the deposit which makes your cc company liable for the full amount (deposit + balance) if something goes wrong regardless of how the balance is paid.

 

I had an umbrella missing and although it took a while to get it NCD have been helpful all the way through despite dealer not sending when they should etc. So they help after the sale too.

I can only echo what has already been said.

 

12 week delivery (as quoted), delivered on a trailer with 4 miles on the clock and to the spec I ordered with great communication throughout. 

I too had a good experience with NCD. As well as the top discount, they seem to be able to source the vehicles very quickly - mine took 13 weeks from order to delivery in December. Reading others experiences, I get the impression that a lot of dealers mess around by delaying placing orders to manipulate their figures.
