Hi all

Its been a while since I was on and since then I'v taken the vrs off the road for some tlc lol, iv got a few things to get dun: fmic, boost gauge, sub and amp install, big mouth conversion etc the list goes on lol.

So to stay mobile I bought a pd130 bora, I'm not going to lye, I love it!

And because of my new love Im trying not to spend cash on it as the vrs is ment to be priority!

sadly I have a darkside egr blank on order and im pricing up a map to 170-175 bhp lol

I was wondering if the smic for the vrs is the same as the pd130 because the connectors on the cooler and pipes on the pd130 are rubbish ( stupid lug type connectors ) and keep popping off

under high boost. iv replaced one all ready and don't want to replace any more standard pipes a its a vw dealer part.

 

And are any other parts inter changeable?

Pretty sure SMIC are the same, some people have also put the 1.8T pancake pipe on the 1.9PD, check over on UKMKIV, loads of info on there.
