This is my brother's car, bit of a beast with the V6 and four wheel drive! Here's his write-up:

 

Volkswagen Passat 2.8 V6 4motion, 2002 52 plate. 4 wheel drive, rare car!

 

110k with lots of history, MOT until July 2015.

 

Only advisory on last MOT was front discs which I have and should hopefully have fitted in the next week. Lowered on adjustable coilovers, does not scrape and very comfortable still 18" wheels with 2 recent front tyres. Heated half leather seats. Climate control. On board computer. 6 disc CD changer in dash. Electric Windows X 4. ABS. Traction control. Chrome mirror and door handle covers. Remote central locking. Rear lip spoiler. HID headlights. 

 

Had for last 12 months and has been spot on, 2 trips to Scotland and back with no problems at all and averaged 30 MPG. Tax is £290 a year (£25 a month).

I think that my June 2000 one was cheaper to tax than later ones, I get some change from £500 when I tax my old Passat 4Motion's replacement! These cars are very tough cars with tough running gear, my old one has just passed 100K and is still good for many more miles/years.

Good solid car! loads of life left and plenty of fun.

Reduced to £995, cheap!
