Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

A friend of mine has an Octavia VRS Tsi hatch in grey, 2012 19000 miles standard car absolutely mint full skoda history. Think he's looking for under 12k if anyone is interested pm me.

Wow, £12K?

SWMBO has just accepted £7K for her '11 plate with 42k miles.

That might not be a fair offer, but I think it will end up on a Skoda forecourt for £9K 'ish.

Interesting, but are they selling at that price level?

After all, they are "only" FL vRS's & as much as we like her car, it's not the best warm hatch of it's time.

Quick & economical, yes, but with so much road noise, especially from the rear, it's not the "car of choice" for a long day's drive.

We had to take it to Darlington & back last month, & it was tiring, 'cos even on decent roads the ride is always "busy".

It's the nature of the beast & we expect no more, but it's replacement will have to be a little more civilised, even if we have to sacrifice some of the performance.

I don't think your mate will have much trouble selling it at that price. Good low mileage VRS tfsi are in short supply. 5 months ago I paid 12k for my car and it had 30k miles. It took me nearly 3 months to find mine and I then had to travel 160miles to pick it up.. Too many diesels and not enough petrols on the market. I know I paid over book price at the garage where I bought it, but it was the car I wanted. I would have loved to have found your mates car when I was looking. I would have paid £11.500.
