Hey all.

I have skoda felicia 1999 but i found no boards for it here please if any admin can move my topic to the right board!

By the way i took my car to the mechanic to fix a fan issue he changed something in the fuse box and after 3 days i tried to use the cassette but the hole radio and cassette ain't working!

I dont have big knowledge in cars so am afraid to touch things so i wont make a mess or a problem in my car.

Please help me step by step, and thanks in advance...

Firstly, the Felicia shares its board with the Favorit (and Foreman/Fun).

 

As to the radio-cassette unit, it is probably locked by a need to input a code number since the battery was disconnected. You may have a piece of paper with a 4 digit number on it, with your owner manual or car documentation. If so, try inputting that (methods of input vary, so we'd need the make and model to help with exactly how you do this).

The problem is not fixed yet i need a serious help and the radio cassette version is old it doesn't have a lock system.

Ah, if the unit is old enough to not have a PIN lock on it, then does it have power? If not, then either the fuse has blown or the mechanic has failed to reconnect the power feed correctly (presumes he had to remove stuff other than fuse box cover).

Hi there your radio plugs in to fuse box on a green plug right hand side top will have 3 wires Red live Brown earth and Yellow side light feed hope this helps will get a pic if needed
