MkIII vRS 2.0 TFSI petrol manual - Revo Stage 1

Featured Replies

Hello All

Just though i would share my experience on the Revo Stage 1 chip i had done at JKM in Portsmouth.

Just awesome really. massive change with no downside after 10K miles with Mod. Car has done 20K now. Wish the stock clutch on the manual could handle more power. May consider a clutch upgrade at some point if money allows.  The engine has more power in there, as the dyno readout shows.

No problems just a general feedback for other. Red line before, black line after.

no other mods. Best chip I've ever had done

Awesome , the engine must be similar to s3/Cupra format then ?

How long did it take to make a remap?

Have been looking at the revo remap for when i get mine but I might wait until the warranty runs out in 3 years before doing it

The remap was 1/2 a day. Have been looking at the stage 3 revo map . Looks awesome

Did Jim show you the graph from the Stage3 on his dyno from last year?  I would recommend a clutch upgrade if you're going for the Stage3 though, although there is an option for lower torque for stock clutches ;)
