In India, the Octavia 2 (called the Laura here) came with a 1.9 PD tdi (105 hp) till 2009 and then the facelifted version came out with the 2.0 commonrail diesel @ 140 hp. Only talking Diesels here.

What is the difference between nonface lift and facelift apart from engines and headlamps ? Any changes to brakes, suspensions, bearings etc?

I am trying to source spare parts online...so every bit of info will help.

quite a few changes:-

- interior changes (seats, centre dash controls, dashboard)

- exterior changes (wing mirrors, rear lights cluster, brake sizes)

- electrical changes (control modules, sensors, wiring looms)
