Part Numbers (Rear buper/rear light)

Recommended Posts

I won't go into details as I'm still annoyed, but it looks like I need to repair/replace my rear bumper/reflector and nsr led light.

I've tried a few of the Skoda parts websites, but can't seem to find much for a MK3.

Can anyone help with part numbers for a VRS Saloon? Or an idea of how much it might cost for a new rear bumper?!

Thanks

I can see the rear light on superskoda, so that's fine.

I'm hoping the bumper itself can be repaired, but I'm not having much luck finding a part number/supplier for the reflector strip.

Any ideas? Superskoda only seem to stock the non-vrs version.

Thanks

If you're in the UK try contacting your local Trade Parts Specialists you can find your local branch on www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk other than that I'll have a look when I get back to work on Monday morning

Is this the one? http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octavia-bumper-reflector-left-rear-2014-2017-50742

It looks as though you need to remove the rear spoiler from the bumper, 8 screws and then unclip the reflector from the bumper. Well, that's what it looks like in the workshop manual.

unfortunately that's not the one. The VRS has a long strip that runs the length of the bumper (but I think is made of three parts).

I've tried a few online parts catalogues, and can identify the parts, but there is no part number listed.

(See 30 + 31 on here: http://www.teilekatalog24.info/skoda/Images/Bilder/753/753807550.png )

Edit: see extract from workshop manual. Only problem is I can't work out how to find the part number!

I'm wondering if the left and right reflectors are generic and the centre is the unique part to the rs bumper? If all else fails @ £8.99 it could be worth a punt? I'm sure the Skoda parts desk will have a code and then it's back to google! Any scrappiest nearby that might be breaking a front end damaged vehicle, or a national yard would probably be able to mail one to you?

Is there significant damage to your car? Gutted for you, knocks you sick doesn't it.
