ap 4 pot 312mm ibiza brakes

Featured Replies

Will ibiza ap 4 pots 312mm fit under 17" spiders on my fabia vrs

the Ibiza was fitted with 17" alloys as standard so I'd imagine so. Taroxs fit fine behind and I believe are a bit bigger than the Ap's

AP 4 pot 312mm will fit fine, brembo 4 pot 323mm fit under 17" so the smaller disk will make it easier.

Good to hear I've just picked some up can I use standard brake lines aswell

Never seen these AP'S.

Ref the brake line I would guess they will be a banjo fitting into caliper?

Of course they will fit under 17's, the question is, are spacers required?!

Yes, the Brembo's fit under spiders, but with spacers only and the wheels which came with the Brembo's off the Cupra-R were a design to accommodate the chunky callipers.

Not sure of this would be the same for the AP's as I've not had them in my hand before, but thought I would add what would be going through my mind if I had just bought these....

I'm thinking I may need some spacers doesn't look much space between the caliper il get them test fitted to see

According to that thread you will need 9mm spacers,so your front wheels will be pushed out in the arch a fair way.

Was gonna say a guy with green wheels had them on with spacers. Coskev beat me to it.

The Ibiza 160 that had the Seat Sport/AP 4pot calipers on it had a different style of 17" alloy to the normal Ibiza with more spoke clearance, they come up for sale every now and again.

Other than that to avoid spacers you'll be looking at an aftermarket wheel with more spoke clearance such as Compomotive's or Team Dynamics ProRace 3

10mm spacers and job done.

Hope your pad retaining pins aren't seized!
