CC was working when I took the Fabia out at 5 this evening, but stopped working when I've just gone out!

Tried clearing but comes straight back. Had this on my Superb and the stalk needed replacing. 

 

Is the stalk a DIY replacement?

 

Certainly would seem to be a stalk issue. Stalk is DIY providing you are ok with airbag removal.

Have you checked the brake light switch, iirc this is a dual device, for lights and cc control, often one side breaks hence the implausible signal error. Cheap and quite easy to replace.

The brake lights are coming on. How is best to check it?

Worth checking in advanced measuring blocks. But I wouldn't expect that fault code with a faulty brake light switch.

Can I use a 6Q0953503EJ with the 1.2?
