3rd variable service

Featured Replies

Hi guys my 2010 cr vrs is in for its 3rd variable service today and the dealer has just phoned me recommending I get the pollen and fuel filters changed, I questioned whether this should be included in the service cost and he told me as it was only a recommended item it wasn't included, is this correct. Service book is with the car so can't check in there, they've already tried to stitch me up twice on the price of water pump and cam belt (quoted over £600 compared to the £459 Skoda quote.

They're golden, not crystal! I'd change the pollen filter on time actually driven, and the fuel filter on mileage.

The £459 is also what the dealer quotes on there website, as far as I can see it's a national pricing thing
