Hi all

Just a quick question I'm thinking of changing the wheels on my mk2 FL Octy. I'm current looking at 19 x 8.5 et47 but i'm stuck on tyres as I'm concerned about scrubbing on the inner arches on the front. I was looking at either 235/35/19 or 245/30/19, has anyone got a similar setup and do you have any problems?

use one of the on-line calculators to see how that'll fit in the arch willtheyfit.com or similar.

 

8.5 is pretty wide - an OEM 19" wheel for a mk3 is 7.5.  stock tyre for a mk3 on 19's would be 235/35 19 IIRC.
