I managed to install London Colour Non Canbus kit to my 2008 Pre Fl estate Octavia but they will not work.

 

I have had the car coded for HIDs via VCDS earlier today but they won't fire up.

 

Has anyone fitted this kit to a pre fl octavia who can help. It should be as simple as plugging the spade connectors into the headlamp wiring plug.

 

Can anyone confirm which wire is live on the h7 headlamp plug, is it the brown wire or purple/pink wire.

I'm fairly sure the purple wire is live.

It doesn't seem to matter which way round I have the connectors, nothing happens. This is the 3rd Hid kit I have installed and first time I have had a problem.

All sorted thanks to common sense from soft scoop above. All working. Massive thank you to langers2k for the coding.
