Noisy heater flaps/motor on climatronic system

Just noticed over the last couple of days that there is a very slight creaking noise coming from glove box area.

This happens when car is placed in reverse or when recirculate button is pressed on heating system.

Are you able to access these flaps easily and can they be lubricated or would the flap/motor need to be replaced?

I'm certain that this is quite common across VWG group vehicles with similar heating systems.

I'm no mechanic but I like to have a go at things before spending my hard earned cash.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
