Centre pipe snapped on my Fabia saloon SDI yoday so it sounds disgraceful.

Is the hatch/estate centre box the same or different?

I presumed estate and saloon would be the same and hatch would be the same bar the rear box.

Centre is the same for all body types.

Saloon rear is same as combi

When I changed the back box on my SDI  estate I found it was different to that designed for the hatchback, extending back to allow for the greater rear overhang of the estate. Not sure whether the saloon would be the same as the hatchback but it might not be. The pattern part I obtained from germany via ebay was also swaged to a larger diamenter at the join so that it would fit over the existing centre pipe, rather than using the special coupling normally needed to join two same diameter pipes.

Thanks @Tech1e. I know how lazy VAG are for making stuff different for different bodystyles. I'll get one ordered.
