It's been a long time since I have been on here, but had a bit of a question,

My neighbour gave me these 17 inch alloys he had on his polo? Will they fit my mk11 Fabia?

Any extra info let me know?

I would guess so. But being as you haven't told me the offset of these wheels it's impossible to say 100%.

A good idea is to whip off a wheel and try one on.

If they were on the Polo they should be fine, but fitting one or all will let you know.

What do I need to look for in terms of the offset being right when I try a wheel on, wheels are something I've never messed with before cheers guys

Just see that the arches do not rub the tyres and the tyres do not rub anything behind them.

 

ie, the car sits pretty much as it does on the Gigaro.

 

What size tyres are now on the wheels you are getting, 205/40 R 17 or 215/40 R 17?

I see they are marked M+S (mud and snow)

I take it they were his Winter Wheels / Tyres

They're 215 40 r and yeah he did say they are winter wheels, I don't know what to do with them really coz he just gave them me for free, what do you think?

If the tyres are good i would be keeping them for my winter wheels-tyres next winter 

If you (or me) was selling them i would be asking no less than £400 for them.

That is the least they would be worth to me.  If i could get at set like that for £400 i would be Larry.

Bloody hell! The three are like brand new on them, it's just a shame I can't put them on now coz they look nicer than the stars alloys lol! Cheers for the advice and pricing though will probably save them til next winter then
