Replacing dash trip button

Featured Replies

Hi

I've recently acquired a Skoda 1.9 TDi Auto Elegance.  I'm pleased to bits with it apart from the trip button does not work.  Consequently I have now learnt that not only can I not trip the speedo, but I cannot change the time, reset the service alerts and anything else that I haven't discovered this little button is responsible for.  My first question is, can I just buy a replacement button?  I suspect not.  So if it comes to it, I will have to source a close as damn it switch from RS Components or CPC. My next question is how the hell do I get the dashboard out?

Any help from those of you who have experience of such things would be gratefully received.
