Traded in my trusty Fab II 3 1.9tdi for a 10 reg 1.8 tsi L&K. (Now have grandkids (plural) so back seat filling up)

 

 

Any other 1.8 tsi owners got any links to useful information??

Yes Snowman89 a 2010 registration (we say 10 reg etc as that is what our plates say in UK). It is a Mark 2 Facelift model.

 

It has done 65K miles and been nicely run in for me by the only  previous lady owner.

 

I am very impressed with this engine although the turbo could cut in a tad earlier to prevent lag. (Maybe a remap will sort that out.)

 

The Laurin & Klement trim is great and the grandkids can drop as much mess as they like over the leather seats with little concern.
