Hi,

 

Hope you can help. There was what look like a heat shield half hanging off the underneath of my car.

 

On further inspection it is bolted on at each each and has pipes(metal then sleeved in blue plastic) heading back towards the brakes.

 

One of the nuts has corroded and the on touching it the whole thing has dropped off the car.

 

Can anyone help tell me what it is and how I can get it off so I can drive to a garage for repairs?

diesel cooler by the sounds of it,under drivers side front floor pan?

You will need to cable tie it up or something to get to the garage

Thanks , just finally figured it.

 

Typically happening on a bank holiday.

Can't grumble for the money the cars been no bother.

Should have just text mate.
