Hello. Has anyone put HIDs in the Octavia VRS mk2 FL? I was wanting to but been told it can blow the Central Control Unit. Is this true? Thanks

Got a 2011 Vrs, had hids on for about 2-3 years, nay bother

The pre-FL was fine, however there have been plenty of BCM / CECM failures on the facelift (FL) reported in this very forum, try a search.

 

Not worth the risk in my opinion.
